I started trading as 'The Beauty Room' in 1987 in Frogmore Street, Bristol, having one treatment room above a hair salon, which was very busy and successful. In 1990 I went to Cyprus and opened a beauty salon in Paphos and trading as the 'Beauty Room' built up a busy clientele. In 1995 I returned to the UK and operated the franchise for the 'Beauty Room' within David Lloyd Leisure in Long Ashton, Bristol. Having two large beauty rooms and professional staff serving both members and non members. After 12 years at David Lloyds I moved the salon and staff to North Street where we have been trading for the last 6 years, providing luxury treatments in an atmosphere that is happy, relaxing and professional.
Ella Purnell - Beauty Therapist
Ella joined the team at 'The Beauty Room' in 2007, when I became fully qualified to NVQ level 3 (6 years ago). In 2011 She worked in Venustus Beauty & Body Lab (NSW) and Harrison's Day Spa (Northern Territory) Australia. Upon return She re-joined 'The Beauty Room'. Ella thoroughly enjoys her job and get great satisfaction from making the clients look and feel great.
Stacey Davies - Beauty Therapist
Stacey has been working within the beauty industry for 6 years after studying NVQ level 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy. Stacey spent 3 years working for Saks and has been trained in advanced waxing, laser hair and thread vein removal, plus Jessica Nails. Upon leaving Saks She went on to train in advanced nail treatments and gel nails with Entity. Stacey joined the 'The Beauty Room' in 2010 and has how added OPI Nail Training to her knowledge. Stacey has built a great client base within the salon. She is very enthusiastic and enjoys her work, She is a great asset to the 'The Beauty Room'.
